I used this to install a 50" Panasonic plasma.
Pros: It looks well made and went together easy. The instructions were clear and the on-line tool for figuring out height and mounting was VERY helpful. Came with Lag bolts (but unfortunately - 1 snapped).
Cons: Perhaps a little thinner gauge steel than the previous mount I used. The locking mechanism seems a bit small and I don't want to say flimsy - but not as secure and I would like. Nothing has fallen off the wall - and I think it will be ok - but if the mount used a little more metal for the locking tabs - I would be happier..

While this mount is fairly easy to install and use, it suffers from some design shortcomings. Most importantly, the plastic (yes, plastic) spring-loaded tabs that go in behind the bottom of the rail (the piece horizontally-mounted on the wall) can break. If you pull the bottom of the TV away from the wall, and the pull-tabs on the bottom have not been pulled out enough, it does not take a great deal of force to break one of these plastic tabs. Once both tabs are broken, there is nothing preventing an upward force on your TV from pushing it off of the mount... and onto the floor (or person) below.
I broke one of the tabs. I am very wary of breaking the other. I will be replacing this mount with an all-metal one, perhaps a Chief.

This mount is VERY slim... Couple with the KDL46HX820 from Sony, this mount and TV combine to stick out less than an inch from the wall when mounted flush. With the tilt fully extended, it's maybe 3" out at the top. This looks MUCH better mounted over our fireplace than the old KDL52V4100 and standard wall mount that stuck out around 9" at the top!
The mount was SUPER simple to install and for the weight I've put on it, more than adequate. I have no concerns with the plastic pieces, but I think that has to do with the size of the TV I mounted.
I will be purchasing another of these mounts for a new 55" soon.
